The IS215ACLEH1 developed by General Electric is a master controller used within Mark VI systems. The Mark VI Speedtronic control system was designed to offer both Simplex and Triple Modular Redundant control options for industrial gas and steam turbine systems. This board is known as an Innovation Series controller unit with core software included that offers online application configuration loading, application-level alarm messages and I/O points with internal Booleans forcing.
Designed into the front panel is a clip on that will help hold the board in place within GE Mark VI rack systems. This faceplate also has two COM ports, two ISBus ports that each include two LED indicators, one yellow and one green and a single ethernet port. Additionally, the faceplate has a reset button, eight status LEDs and four additional LEDs that are labeled (from top to bottom) OK, Active, ENET, and Flash to provide the user with an at glance view of the boards operating status.
It is also populated with a CPU chip, 8 MB of DRAM, 4 MB of flash memory (BIOS) and 128K of byte-level 2 cache.
